(Walk softly on this
ground)
Walk softy on this ground. Show reverence and
respect.
Honor all those names you see. Remember and
reflect.
Young men who went to battle. To give their Country Honor.
Young men who lived next door. Or, just around the
corner.
Think of all their dreams, their hopes and their
desires.
Torn and cast asunder By Wars bitter fires.
This
ground it now Is holy. Blessed by blood they shed.
For if we do
remember. They never shall be dead.
Walk softy on this ground But,
please do walk tall.
Walk softy on this ground. For you stand before,
THE WALL.
